A fascinating book about diagnosis of various diseases through Chinese palmistry. There are detailed descriptions of symptoms, illustrations, photographs, and charts with each entry. The hands and the brain are the important organs that make man the wisest of all the creatures. The size, thickness, fingers and color of the hands; the length and straightness of the color and shape of the nails; the patterns of the palmar lines; all these are closely related to the character, psychology, physiology and pathology.
The book presents a number of diagrams accompanying the description of the hand, skin and lines of the palm, the form of five fingers and the division of the area on the palm. Also, a substantial part of the book describes the diagnoses of commonly encountered diseases through observing the palmar lines.
The writer, based on 160,000 cases she treated and 5000 pictures of palmar lines collected, has found the inner relations between the changes of palmar lines and 130 diseases.
