Introduction to Chinese Acaridae,本书共3篇19章，约84万字，含插图420余幅，彩图90幅。第一篇为总论，主要介绍粉螨的形态、生物学、生态学、为害和防制等；第二篇为各论，主要介绍粉螨亚目中粉螨科、脂螨科、食甜螨科、嗜渣螨科、果螨科、麦食螨科和薄口螨科，科下分属，属下分种，每一螨种从种名、同种异名、地理分布、形态特征、生境与生物学特性及其与人类健康的关系几方面进行描述。第三篇为粉螨的研究技术，既有传统的基础研究技术，也有新技术新进展在粉螨研究中的应用。
