This book deals with 231 species and subspecies belonging to 64 genera, 10 subfamilies of the family Ichneumonidae. 24 species of them are new to science, 2 genus and 6 species are the first record for China. Some new host records are included. Most species in this book are described or redescribed. 223 pictures are provided.
The comparative characters of the new species with their similar species included in the book are briefly presented, and the new Chinese records are listed. All type specimens are deposited in the General Station of Forest Pest management, State Forestry Administration, Shenyang, China.
