This book has included relevant data such as: woody plants, herbaceous plants, native or foreign plants, indigenous Chinese genus plant, endangered plant defined by related national department, plant in Inner Mongolia etc. The book indicate all the relative data of seed plants families and genera with medicinal plants in China: the number of genera and species of the world in the family, number of genera and species in China; number of species in the genera in the world and China. All the Latin names in the book follow the standard format set by the International Code of Botanical Nomenclature, this is the first book in the world to be complied by the standard. It is hoped that the book will provide a useful reference to medicine staff, and also is a reference book for a diverse spectrum of readers, like senior researchers in botany and other relative science fields, teachers, students and staff in agriculture, forestry and environmental protection, bioengineering, plant quarantine, horticulture, news and publishing agents, foreign trade fields or departments.
