This book systematicaly introduces 267 species, belonging to 3 subfamilies, 96 genera, of  leaf beetles from Gansu province, describing their morphological characteristics, distribution, biology and fauna. There is a mophological figure to each species an some of the species have color pictures.  Text is in Chinese, with Chinese name and Latin name. LAtin name index.
本书较系统地从叶甲科的形态学、生物学、系统学、区系组成及其特点等几个方面，介绍了甘肃目前已知的叶甲科3亚科、96属、267种。还从外形特征、分布特点和生态习性对每种作了详细的描述以及配有形态图和一定数量的的彩色图。
