Fauna Sinica Insecta Vol.19 Lepidoptera Arctiidae . The present monograph deals with the Chinese Arctiid fauna. A total of 75 genera, 336 species of Lithosiinae, 51 genera, 173 species of Arctiinae, and 7 genera, 19 species of Aganainae is dealt with in this issue. Among them, 31 species are described as new to science.
The book is divided into two parts:
1: General account: (1).Phylogeny and
classification; (2).Morphological characters; (3).Bionomics;
(4).Economic siginificance; (5).Geographic distribution;
2. Systematic account: (1).Lithosiinae; (2).Arctiinae: including
Arctiini and Callimorphini; (3) Aganainae. A total of 75 genera,
336 species of Lithosiinae, 51 genera, 173 species of Arctiinae, and
7 genera, 19 specis of Aganainae are dealt with in the second part.
Among of them, 31 species are described as new to science.
