《北京园林植物花粉扫描电镜图谱》选取了北京公园和绿地中常见植物105种，包括木本植物30科60种，草本植物23科45种，其中风媒植物61种，虫媒植物44种。每种植物一般有4幅图片，其中一幅是花或花序的照片，其余分别是花粉粒的极面观、赤道面观、萌发沟（孔）或外壁表面纹饰的扫描电镜照片。
